BIO

Hi! My name is Risheet Mazumdar. I'm a 15-year-old doodle and pop artist from Sydney, Australia. My artistic style is all about vibrant colours and expressions that pop and hopes to bring a smile to your face!

I'm extremely passionate about what I do, and I often take inspiration from the everyday things that excite me, and play a part in my life and interests :)

For as long as I can remember, I've absolutely loved anything creative. I would never stop drawing and singing, and that hasn't changed even today! At 11, I started really focusing on my art and took the COVID lockdowns as an opportunity to really begin enjoying and exploring art to start making my own unique style. Since these early days, I always was keen to take my designs further than a conventional canvas.

Ever since, I've been featured in an issue of the Northern Beaches Magazine, 'The Tawny Frogmouth', winning the 'Mosman Youth Art Prize', and being a finalist in the 'Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Prize. Soon after, I was selected to collaborate with 4 other youth artists across the Northern Beaches, and created a mural in the Manly Library.

In parallell, I've been given opportunities to have exhibitions in local galleries which has been awesome! I soon focused on productising my art, and met up with manufacturers to bring my life to art. I soon received orders and opportunities for custom works too! With Colourrish, I aim to create products which are designed not just to make you look awesome and feel happy, but to also take care of our planet.

So far, I've had a really special journey with my art, and I hope to take my passion as far as I can!
